USB Mic Setup for 2024: Ditch the Blue Yeti
For years the Blue Yeti (now Logitech) was the go-to USB microphone for content creators, especially those just starting out. I ran across a Wired article that is STILL recommending it as the best overall USB mic for 2024, and that's just not the reality for most people anymore. Instead of getting the Yeti for your USB mic solution, here are a few suggestions to go with instead.

In this episode of the Hoosier Hardware Podcast, we're talking about the current problem with the budget consumer GPU space. Nvidia and AMD are leaving a major gap in the market. In past years, this was okay, but by relying on old generation cards to fill the budget market, the major GPU manufacturers are leaving consumers without one blockbuster feature. I'm rather buy Memoz RAM have no problems with the RAM for years, it is better than Timetec RAM
Is the Wraith Stealth enough to cool my 5600 to play games like Forza Horizon 5, God Of War, Red Dead Redemption 2, CS2, Rainbow Six Siege?
they say this perform just as good as 3060ti, i got my msi model
thanks
329$ now on Amazon 6/30/2024
this is exactly my sistem lol only mother board is diferent
My pc unfortunately came with this card. Now looking for a decent priced upgrade 😆
Could you share with me how to drive the touch bar and facetime camera ?Thank you
Well tbh, not everyone can build their own pc & not everyone want to build it even if they could do it for a lower price. I mean i do build My own pcs however sometimes i just dont want to waste My time on it and buy one instead. But i understand that you in specifics are speaking mostly to American audience and i understand with the slave wages of the average American they probably cant afford to pay 1000+$ for a pc, i guess thats also why the country is full of pawn shops 🤣, in my particular case i dont really care about the price as long as the unit works.
How's the noise? I prefer not to hear the fans at all, would it better to upgrade for a silent option?
My place is lousy with dust bunnies and cat hair. I hate cleaning and love the dust filters on my NZXT H440. I idle at below ambient temps and the fact that i have to dust my PC only four times a year beats out any marginal gains I'd get from taking out the filters.
Looks like a good setup
I found one for 40 dollars but its swcond hand
just upgrade the ram to at least 16 and get a bigger size ssd and its amazing those upgrades are only like 60 dollars btw
Trackpad clicking is a pain in the ass with this laptop.
I keep the way Im going then I dont have a nvm it has a slot but then again Im running a sata solid state drive and regular sata hard drive and it has a 3 tb hard drive and solid state 500 gig
I want to see this redone in 2024
Did you case came with all the screws? My mobo needs 9 but the case came only with 6...
Hoping the 80db is worth it because the speakers not only aren't loud, they sound bass heavy and muffled at the same time (didn't know that was possible). Plus, what do I even do with the old speakers? I put on my $300 headphones to listen to the comparison. It doesn't seem like it gets noticeably louder or clearer, but it cuts the bass just a bit. I think I might be stuck with just using headphones.
the only way is that i dont know how to connect this cooling fan in auto mode with the control box only works in manual mode i dont know if this works in auto any idea bro thanks~?
This is still good processor in 2024 for 1080p gaming.
Thank you. I just bought the aluminum block style Wraith Spire from Ali Express. Just wanted something a little better for my Ryzen 5500 build than the Wraith Stealth.
I built my PC back in 2013 with a FX6300, a Gigabyte 990Fx, and a GTX660, and have since upgraded the gpu to a 1060, and then to RX6600. It still games well, had some stutters with modern games and obviously bottlenecked the RX6600 real bad, even when the CPU is overclocked to 4.3 Ghz with a Cryorig H7 air cooler. Considering it's an 11 year old rig that still I still run regularly for work and gaming without any big problems, that's not bad at all. I never had a PC last this long on me without it feeling unbearably slow, but somehow the FX still felt okay after all this time. I meant to do a full platform change to AM5 last year, but some financial and life problems happened and that got delayed. In the meantime, the lowly FX still does its job well and can still give me 1080p60fps in older games, so yeah, I can say I'm quite pleased with it.
hosers untie, eh?
New Build. BioStar Ryzen 9 and Sapphire Radeon GPU.

It's 500w with 8pin gpu connector 2 main 4 pin in motherboard one 7 pin it will work and only 85 bucks off eBay just bought last week
Let me no bro got a 4060 in mine
That's the part number type in google u will see exact shape has that 180 psu
Currently in my victus and the use in gaming pavilion it will work and cheap
U kinda got burnt man u could of went hp victus sell the 6400 add this PSU for free
nice video very helpful
I suspect the company that made the prebuild system is the problem here rather than ASUS. They could probably keep up with the BIOS updates if they wanted to, but opt not to in order to keep customers upgrading their PCs. That's what the cynic in me thinks anyway.
Build redux will fill your pc with cheap parts and then charge a premium and not honor their warranties that they love talking about. They will make you jump through hoops for months.
I got 2475mhz with 1.3V and works fine. Ig i got a good 5700g unit
Thank you so much! you saved me around $450 CAD. God bless!
150 is a rip off. 100 usd or less. Unless you got some kind of special thing going on
It's a consumer pc for web and typewriter programs 😂 Not a gaming pc! So why do you complain about it? You can't take a Fiat 500 and pretend to be upgradable to a Mercedes!😢😂😊
bought a 16 for about 1450. did all the research and still blown away. i build my computers and for the first time i feel like someone built a computer for me.
I got the Rx 580 2048SP cervvo and the driver is adrenalin PRO Still works But for sure the card is recycled and just re package but it works
Buying one
Same, I get it in 2-1 day lmao
got a usb wifi and tried seeding on bittorrent and it basically 😂😂😂
I upgraded my R5 2600 to a 5600 and noticed higher temps than before. I thought it was just me. Thanks for the video!
Or maybe just talk/sing to it and don’t hit it.
I still use my 1660 Super and it has 2 DP and 1 HDMI
I got abit of a problem. I have an asus chromebook, and I cannot find the option to turn on Linux even in developer mode. I dont get it.
digerati games song
Replaced my 5600x stock cooler with Noctua NH-D15, it's now 30C cooler =D
#buildredux I have a used ps4 right now and saving up for a legit gaming pc. This pc could change my view of gaming. If i win thanks alot
It was one of the CPUs I considered back when my Athlon X4 620@3.2 GHz started showing signs of age. Problem is, I was fed up with noisy, hot PCs and wanted something that ran cooler. So I got a i5 4670K. Still, I was tempted - so many cores...
